  a congregation in this area has received a message from the society to take their money out of washinton mutual asap.

  this is interesting because a couple of economist i read on the internet have said they expect wamu to go under in the next few days.

  they have been in trouble for quite sometime.

  Another thing I should have added, stop thinking about "Women and Men" and start thinking about "you and him", look at yourself as an individual and the man you love (or hope to love) as another individual, if you have issues its not "Women and Men" issues keep it as "yours and His" Issues.

  With all seriousness, I think the biggest problem is "Us Women" and " Us Men" ...... simply put, the genders are divided.

  Are the number of non-JW related Topics increasing at JWD?

  on the typical page of 20 topics you'll most likely find that up to half of them are not related to the jw experience at all.

  i think that percentage has grown over the past 7+ years that i've been here.

  not sure what it means though .

  Obviously the members in this forum have turned into a community, they keep in touch with each other and talk about anything that comes to mind, but when the WTS does something worth talking about that subject becomes the main talking point.

  Look what happened when the Book Study Groups was removed, and I’ve heard news that the pioneer hours may be reduced if that’s true then there will be lots of talk about that.

  one reason why you may get an Error is because you may be using WORD when you type the message and then do a COPY to the message window, use NOTEPAD or WORDPAD, its a problem with the Fonts.

  our little boy had to have a minor medical procedure.

  his grandma rang the next day and said "i prayed that he would get thru it ok. jehovah obviously answered my prayer".. .

  this was a few years ago now, i was on the work one day with an elders elder.. you now the type!.

  & he said this to me me (now i would love to know if you heard this one if its from a wt mag).

  "how you are viewed by others (& so treated) is a reflection of how god views you".

  For me its was a CO's comment.... I was helping a sister who was getting problems from an Elder, of course the Elder didn't like me helping her out so I got problems from the other Elders, and the CO said to me.... " if the Edelrs couldn't help her, you should've...(helped her) " of course he didn't mean to say that I was able to help her, but even if I was able to help her in any case i shouldn't tried to help her... greast love! ... well after that i went on the interent fro the frist time...and the rest is histroy.

  Just finished our District Convention

  i know i am going to get caught being on here...and i don't want to get caught, but i need support or i will lose my mind.

  how can i give information about my convention without someone figuring out who i am?

  (i am not important i know that, but i know so many people in the organization) .

  Its not that easy getting caught on this forum or anywhere else on the net. I am still considered a JW, I go to most meeting and still do a bit of Field service.

  Who owns the wts?

  " if it came down to distributing wts assets, who would get all the money and property?

  No one person or persons own the WTS, but the GB do control it. If one member of the GB dicides to leave then he also loose's his control of any assets.

  I setup my work computer so that every time an error occured it gave out the Wilhelm Scream, I was asked to remove it by the other workers haha.. I guess they were sick of hearing it scream.
